In this week's episode, I talk with Brian Elmquist of The Lone Bellow and Joyclub. Brian is a singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. Brian has both a passion for creation and compassion for humanity, which are palpable. He has battled addiction in his lifetime but is currently sober and openly discusses the gifts of sobriety.
In this week's episode, I sit down with Brian Elmquist. One of the three key vocalists and lead guitarist for The Lone Bellow. Elmquist discusses his introduction to the stage while playing guitar in his childhood sanctuary, brightly illuminated with a neon pink cross. Brian's journey as a musician took Brian from his small town in Georgia to Nashville, to New York City, and back to Nashville, where he currently resides with his wife and children. Brian discusses Lone Bellow's rise, his current collaboration with LA-based producer and friend Justin Glasco, Joyclub, and finding a home in producing and music creation.
